If the agreement is signed, the illegal migrants entering Greece from Turkey since March 20, will be deported back
The European Union and Turkey have reached a tentative agreement according to which all illegal migrants arriving in Greece from Turkey since March 20, will be deported back. This was stated by Prime Minister of Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka, reports AP.
According to him the agreement must be signed by the Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet davutoğlu.
28 heads of EU States have yet to examine the new draft and officially sign the agreement.
As part of the settlement of the migration crisis the EU agreed on the allocation of multibillion-dollar aid package for Turkey, as it promised the prospect of a visa-free regime with the Schengen countries and acceleration of negotiations on its EU membership.
