The government approved the program of cooperation with NATO for the current year, which needs to be signed by President Petro Poroshenko.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the program of cooperation with NATO in 2018. This is in Facebook Vice-Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze.
"New annual national program of cooperation with NATO in 2018, finally, despite the objective of the delay is not the fault of Ukraine, agreed by Cabinet for submission for review and signature act as President," she wrote.
Klympush-Tsintsadze added that the document will continue to evolve and improve, "in order to reach the level of the strategic document and its implementation, which would really prepare us to implement the strategic goal of the state to be ready for membership in the Alliance."
Deputy Prime Minister also said that the Cabinet approved the action plan for the implementation of the concept of informing the public about Euro-Atlantic cooperation for 2018.
"The active phase of the realization plan in life is just beginning, laying hopes on the efficient operation of the departments," she added.
Recall, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg believes that the issue of Ukraine's membership in the Alliance may be considered since the Kyiv reforms in the field of defense.
