Readmission Saakashvili in Poland legal Ombudsman


Valeria Lutkovska stressed that opened the proceedings and made inquiries to state authorities, since the procedure of the deportation of Mikhail Saakashvili raises questions.

Parliament Commissioner for human rights Valeria Lutkovska said on air Channel 5 that the readmission of the party leader The movement of new forces Mikheil Saakashvili from Ukraine to Poland was legitimate, but there are questions to procedure for its implementation.

"Readmission were really legitimate. Another question, how it was performed and not whether in this case the excessive use of force against the person. This is a question that remains", noted Lutkovska.

She also indicated that she would like to find out whether it is possible to implement the readmission of a person who has the status of the accused.

The Ombudsman recalled that it had opened proceedings and requested the State border service, State migration service and other agencies regarding the readmission procedure Saakashvili.

"Requests are only sent, I'm waiting for answers. Depending on what they will be, we can talk about violations or not," − said Lutkovska.
