Kiev has fulfilled a large number of requirements in many areas for visa-free regime and the Brussels sees no grounds for its cancellation.
EU Ambassador to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli said in an interview with the online edition The Realist that the EU sees no grounds to cancel a visa-free regime with Ukraine.
He reminded that the EU requirements for Ukraine visa-free regime touched many spheres, in particular, border management, rule of law, migration management, and reforming other sectors.
"On a regular basis we have to check the situation concerning these commitments. But today we have no reason to assume that Ukraine will have problems with this," said Mingarelli.
Previously the foreign Ministry of Ukraine said that Kiev until Brussels gives the reason for the suspension of the visa-free regime.
